How romantic. I'm sure this will have no consequences.

Yeah, the thing is that, to take away your pain, he also wants to take away your humanity. The thing is that I'm not sure she *cares* about that drawback.

Seems that will be the end of this flashback seeing as that symbols now on the bottom right. Was honestly looking forward to learning more through this format :(

Hm.
That face is so familiar. I know it must be a Court founder but i cant recall what one

Yeah
Zimmy is definitely the Her of this time.

How sweet, experiment on her like the guy in "Shape of Water" or put her in stasis for a hundred years like Abe Sapien, poor thing, although like Bugsy said that's probably better than *this*, at least she'll be safe from rats in the Court. I actually do think this "Road to Wellsville" "Devil in the White City"-looking guy truly wants to help but I also know enough about real and fictional Victorian science and good intentions...

Loving this style. Feels a bit like ol' Homestuck where things shifted entire mediums yet kept recognizably on model.
Reminds me of some childrens books my grandmother read me. Limited, carefully selected, color pallette. Hazy memory of a toad in a cranberry bog and a Caldecott Medal.

Looks a lot like Tony. Whoever he is, I think we encountered him briefly in the robotic flashback on p. 654, where he’s noping himself out of the meeting with Sir Young, Steadman and that anonymous sad-eyed gentleman.

Gosh these pages are so atmospheric and lovely.
She's got such a Zimmy vibe (even red eyes if you go by the bird) that I'm starting to wonder if Zimmy and maybe Gamma were made, or at least "influenced", by the Court using Omega as the base. That or they're just similar in, er, being.

I continue to be astounded by the breathtaking development in Tom's art style over the years. What an incredible range. This is stunning, I love it!

Okay, theory- this is Zimmy. She can possess animals, hence the eyes. This dude is sympathetic, and helps her by putting her into suspended animation until a cure for her condition is invented. She wakes up in Birmingham and lives there until rescued, hence the accent.
